Stationery inked with Lahore's own hand.
Haroof notebooks, sketch pads and keepsakes block-printed on kraft paper by a small studio in Old Anarkali — built for people who still write things down.
Shop New InEverything starts with paper and ink.
Every letter is carved before it's ever printed.
Remtem began on a rooftop off Anarkali Bazaar, where our founder started carving Urdu letterforms into printing blocks between architecture classes. What was once a stack of hand-pressed Haroof notebooks for friends is now a small studio of block-printers, stitchers and letterers working the same way — by hand, in small batches.
We still cut every block ourselves, mix ink in-house, and press each sheet of kraft paper one at a time. It's slower than a factory run, and that's exactly the point: no two covers come out quite alike.

Named for the Urdu word for "letters," this set turns individual Urdu characters into standalone block prints — one letterform per notebook, bookmark and keychain. Collect them like alphabet cards, or start with your own.
